Amy's Art and Stuff

Over Easter I was set a project to illustrate part of the short story; ‘The Man Who Would Be King’ by Rudyard Kipling.

Project for the new East London Underground line. The task was to design artwork for one of the new stations on the line and I chose Hoxton. The work I produced is based on the lunatic asylums that occupied most of Hoxton in its past, which is why the images are presented as Rorschach tests.

This is a project for the V&A museum that entailed producing a campaign to attract younger visitors to the museum. My work was based around the love story of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in conjunction with Valentine’s Day.

These are pieces I made for a project called ‘Very Special People’, based around the skeletons of human oddities. The dancing skeleton images were eventually made in to a mutoscope slideshow.

Drawings of birds I saw when traveling around Australia. I was playing around with the idea of making the drawings into postcards and passport stamps.
